Chris & Jan Weaver
We reside on the premises at Sticklinch Farm and have lived in Somerset for over 6 years. Our married daughter, Anna, lives nearby in Wells with our three grandchildren. We have two sons - Andrew, recently returned from Australia, married and started GP training and Robert, in his second year as a doctor in Bristol. Chris works from home for a global IT company and Jan still keeps her hand in as a Practice Nurse at a local GP surgery.
We enjoy the relaxed lifestyle in Somerset and have developed the 4 acre plot to accomodate our growing number of small farm animals. Our paddock extends up the hill at the rear towards West Pennard Hill. Our flock of sheep are very friendly and will allow you to tickle their chins with a little help from some sheep nuts! We have Hampshire Downs, Suffolk and Dorset varieties which this year (April 2011) produced 14 lambs between them including 2 sets of triplets and 4 sets of twins! Also around the small holding are two little pigmy goats, hopefully pregnant, as well as a variety of hen and ducks producing fresh eggs. You could also try goose eggs from our Pilgrim geese which we hatched from eggs. We own a very friendly Border Collie called Lulu and some gorgeous looking cats.
Latest addition!! We now have a second Collie pup called "Peter Grimes" who loves the grandchildren!

Sticklinch lamb and chicken as well as vegetables and eggs are often available for purchase - please enquire.
We also often have lambs for sale for breeding or grass keepers.
Poultry - Pekin Cochins, SIlkie bantams and large Silkies are often available for sale.
We now have some young Pilgrim geese also available for sale.
We breed British Shorthair Silver Tabbys. For details, photos or to be placed on the waiting list for next year's kittens then visit our British Shorthair Silver Tabby website or email us at kittens@sticklinchfarm.co.uk
