Sticklinch Farm is a small holding in rural Somerset. It is very near the Cathedral City of Wells, Glastonbury Tor and only 35 minutes from the coast. It is also 10 mins from the Royal Bath & West Showground at Shepton Mallet and 15 mins from the Clarks Village Outlet Shopping. The long distance footpath, the Monarch Way, is adjacent to the property so is ideal for walkers. The owners Chris and Jan have a variety of small animals on their 4 acre smallholding, including sheep, lambs, ducks, geese, hens, pigmy goats, piglets, cats and their sheepdog Peter who loves playing football and frizbee with the children. Visitors are welcome to join in the daily animal feeding or walk up the paddock to see the sunset with views towards the Somerset coast and the Mendip Hills.
This area is ideal for bird watching. We have resident barn owls nesting in our owl box up in the great oak tree. Ham Wall and Avalon RSPB centres are very nearby with the spectacular starling murmurations during the winter months.
